When and where are the meetings held?

Meetings are usually held in Ms. Brostowicz's room, C104, during brunch on Tuesdays.

How many hours are required per semester?

Every member is required to do 5 hours each semester to be an active member.

How much does an Octagon shirt cost?

An Octagon shirt only costs $5 to buy. Please turn in your waivers before you buy a shirt!

What is the latest I can remove or sign up for an event?

The latest time you can make any changes is 4 days. If you tell us you can't make it after this deadline, 1 hour will be deducted.

Do I need to wear my shirt to every event?

Wearing your shirt is mandatory. If you haven't recieved a shirt and would like to buy one, mail us at, mvoctagon@gmail.com .

How many hours do I need for a Presidential Award?

Age Group	Bronze Level	Silver Level	Gold Level
Teens (11-15)	50 - 74 hours	75 - 99 hours	100+ hours
Young Adults (16-25)	100 - 174 hours	175 - 249 hours	250+ hours

If the criteria is met, you will receive a personalized certificate, congratulatory letter from the President of the United States, and a pin of the appropriate color. Keep in mind that the presidential awards are not cumulative, so they have to be earned over the course of 1 year. For more information visit https://www.presidentialserviceawards.gov/eligibility.

I'm having issues logging in or singing up for events. What should I do?

Send us an email at mvoctagon@gmail.com and give us details on the issue you are having. You can also contact this email if you have any questions or concerns.

I'm not receiving weekly emails or event notifications.

Go to Update Personal Profile and update your email! This allows you to receive emails about events that you are attending with additional information. If you have further problems, send us an email at mvoctagon@gmail.com with your name and the email you would like it to be sent to.
